Purchasing Your First Car
I figured this would be a hot topic to discuss for today's blog post. Purchasing your first car is something many of us 17-25 years will do.
Here's something to think about before purchasing your first car.
1. Take your time looking around for a car. Don't buy the first one you see.
2. You want to try and get the best deal possible. Look on Kijiji and for private sales. Do not settle with the price they are offering. If the owner really wants to get rid of his vehicle you can cut the price down.
3. This one is important. Find out what work needs to be done to the car. Take it in to your mechanic. If the owner is reluctant to do so, then he's likely hiding something from you. If it's going to cost you over $1000 dollars to safety the vehicle it might not be worth the purchase. Chances are something else will go wrong.
So get out there and look for a gem.
