Keith: Working on My Campaign
I had a really good time going out into the wild and interacting with others. Just getting the chance to talk with people about Young and Free and know they were interested in what I was bringing to the table was very gratifying. I think in my video it was clear that we want coffee and donuts to be available at our local Credit Unions. Beyond that, I was getting a strong response from students stating they want their financial institution to work more with their student loans and provide the best service while they're in school. Being a student is one of the tougher times we'll go through in our lives. This is why it's important to be smart with our money. I interviewed two folks from England and learned that their financial institution communicated behind glass. I feel communication is key in building a strong relationship with your financial institution. Being with Libro Credit Union for a number of years now, I know both Libro and United Communities Credit Union give you great service while providing the best options for you. Many of the students I talked to said they have a tough time saving money for school. It's something we all know we have to do, it's just a matter of finding a way/plan that works for us. The Go Free Bundle plan through Young and Free is a good start. Everything free until your 25? Doesn't get much sweeter than that!
When it comes down to it, we're all the same. We are Young and Free and the possibilities out there are endless. Every decision we make now can effect us the rest of our lives. I think it's important to sit down, look at all your financial options, think about how it effects your family, friends, your life now, your future, and make informed decisions.
