Happy Family Day!
Happy 5th Anniversary of Family Day in Ontario!
I don't know about you guys, but I didn't realize that Family Day isn't celebrated by all of Canada. It's a holiday that started in Alberta in 1990 to reflect the values of the pioneers who founded Alberta. In 2007, Saskatchewan named Family Day an official holiday and the following year, we did too!
We should consider ourselves lucky that we have a nice holiday to break up the stretch between Christmas and Easter!
I hope all of you are enjoying the holiday and doing something fun with your family (or friends, or whoever)! If you're inside and bored, check out my blog post about things to do today around Ontario!
