Young and Free Bri Presents....

Bri’s Best Financial Tip!

So up until now, chances are you’ve had a lot of help and guidance from parents with your finances. They probably set you up with your first account, at your first bank… Maybe set up a retirement fund, school fund, etc. All of that help is great, and it’s awesome to have someone teach you that, but Young and Free Ontario it is time to take control of your money and your life!

It is nice to have someone manage your money, however it is time for you to own your finances! YOU need to make sure YOU know what accounts you have, and what they all do. There are all types of accounts for all types of people and situations! So figure out what works best for you and your plans! After-all financial independence, is personal independence!

A great way to start? Check out Libro & United's Go Free Bundle™. It’s customized banking for young people like us! But this time around; go into the branch and meet your coach. They may not make you cookies like mom did, but they will make sure to keep your finances and your best interest first. It is important that you make an immediate effort to have a coach, because then when you have a question or concern at all about your money you have an expert on your side (instead of the old … “Mom will you take me to the bank?”)

It is great to know where every cent you have goes. If you don’t understand any parts of your own personal account you need to make sure you get in control of that for example: “Why is this account taking money from my other one automatically?” If you don’t know where your money is going… who will?

"A big part of financial freedom is having your heart and mind free from worry about the what-ifs of life."
Suze Orman

And that, Young and Free; is my two cents worth.
