Jessica current situation:
Hi Ontario! My name is Jess and I am a 23 year old Public Relations student from London. I graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a degree and Political Science and English and I am currently finishing my first semester in PR at Western. I have been a member of a credit union for as long as I have been old enough to open a bank account, and since then, I have taken advantage of a number of financial services they offer.
I am an excellent communicator and believe I have the right personality to be the Young & Free Ontario spokesperson. I am extremely outgoing, upbeat, and I am able to strike up a conversation with anyone. I would be honoured to be the voice for Ontario’s youth and be entrusted with teaching young people about their banking options and freedoms. I am the voice, Ontario!
Jessica's blog post:
To me freedom means achieving all your personal goals, and having the financial options to do so.
From attending post-secondary school, buying your first car, or even purchasing your first home, young people are faced with a variety of life choices and decisions that require saving money or borrowing from a bank.
Why not be educated about your banking options?
Our youth is the best and possibly only time to chase our dreams and tackle our goals. It would be a shame to miss out on an opportunity or to forgo pursuing your ambitions because you feel limited by your financial situation.
In my experience with Libro Financial, anything is possible! The staff and advisors offer personalized service that caters to your unique situation.
If I could be the voice for Ontario, the most rewarding experience would be educating Ontario’s youth on their banking options and possibly giving someone the opportunity to pursue their aspirations—when they didn’t think it was possible.
The economic climate is a harsh one, but freedom means not being limited by your situation. With the help of my credit union, I personally have found the financial freedom to attend post-secondary school, travel after graduation, attend post-graduate school, obtain my personal training certification, and achieve financial independence from my parents.
To me, freedom means being educated on your options and never feeling restricted by your situation.
So chase your dreams, Ontario...and let me help you figure out how to do it. I am the voice!
