Matt's current situation:

I'm currently working on video making full-time. I run two of my own channels, as well as a few of my friends. I write the scripts, film and edit for all channels.

I'm attending college to be an Education Assistant, which is someone who deals with special needs and behavioural needs children. In the future, I intend to attend University for Social Work.

Matt's blog post:

Today we see so many people hiding. Hiding behind make-up, hiding behind a computer screen, or just plain shutting themselves away from the world. So many people with low self-esteem.

My belief is only two words; be awesome. Everyone, absolutely everyone in the world has some way to contribute to the world. We may be missing out on some of the greatest minds to ever exist, just because we put someone down, or mark them as unimportant.

We, as awesome people, need to remind others, how awesome they are. So to those who are feeling down, this is what I purpose!

1) When you start feel down on yourself.. Stop. That's right, just stop. Don't think about it.

2) Be awesome. Now you're asking, how can I just BE awesome? Simple. It's all mind over matter, anyone can be whatever they want, if they believe in it. Even if you don't think you're awesome, just try. Think about what you do well, think about a time you made someone feel happy.

3) Act on it. Now that you're motivated, get to work, do something creative, expand on it, there's no limit to what you can do

4) Spread the awesome. Cheer someone else up, remind them how awesome they are. Help them through the same steps.

Now why should you try this? Well, if you're not already feeling awesome, then do you have to lose?

Matt
