HI, my name is Jasmine Squires, I am 17 years old and live in Londersborough, ON. I will be returning in the fall for my grade 12 year at Central Huron Secondary School. After i have graduated I plan to further my education by going to the University of London to study medecine.

Throughout my life I have had many experiences with leadership and public speaking. In grade 8 i was voted the valedictorian and that same year was awarded the Ontario Catholic Leadership Award, i have scores of speeches infront on schools, performed both musicly and dramatically and I have been given the honor of participating in the Me to We, Leaders today program.

I enjoy anything and everything that involves people and getting to know them further.

Freedom. Freedom? FREEDOM!!!!!!!

Whats freedom you ask?? Well freedom is lots of things. It's the first time you ride your bike, or when you just turned 10 and your mom finally let you go to that sleepover. Freedom is alot of things, but the one thing it is when you finally hit that 17-25 period in your life.......is FEAR!  I know what your thinking, how could freedom = Fear. You can do whatever you want, whenever you want, you have a license and not a care in the world. However when you finally sit down after your freedom high you realize that it's really not all that cracked up to be. Soon you have to pay bills, and what about school?! You start to get kind of scared, you have so many questions to ask but you just dont know where to begin?!? So there you are scared, confused and lost.....who ya going to call??? NO NOT GHOST BUSTERS!!! How about the experts at Libro Financial and United Communities Credit Union!!  They might be able to help you!

Freedom is the one thing a kid cant wait for in life, but when it gets here they realize that its really not all that special. However it can be, if you manipulate it correctly, shape it for your best outcomes not just for now but for the future, when your going to be paying off school loans, paying regular bills and trying to feed yourself.

In order to truly live freedom to the fullest, you need a plan of action, a way to manage the important things in life to ensure a positive future.
