My name is Stacey Zegers! I work on a farm and I play music on the weekends! I absolutely love people, I love to meet new people, getting to know them, sharing positive opportunities with them and hearing about theirs! I believe that life is for living so i try to seize every chance I can find to live a happy and fulfilling life! This opportunity is one of those for me! I blog, vlog and use social media to promote my music and have gained a pretty large following. I do all my music promotion myself so that means taking the time to talk, to research, and learn as much as possible before going ahead with anything and Im really proud of how far I have come on my own to this point!
Stacey's blog post:
Standing at what seems like the edge of the earth. The feeling of warm, wet sand between your toes, the smell of salt in the air, the light breeze on your skin, the only sound in the distance waves rippling onto the shore. You think to yourself "this is freedom."
Freedom means different things to different people. For me, as a 24 year old, I already feel like financial freedom would be the ultimate freedom, mainly because it leads to many possibilities and avenues that are difficult to access when consumed by the thought of bills, savings, investments, bulls and bears. What does it all mean anyways? It's intimidating to start life as an adult to depend more on yourself then ever before and be expected to put away some of your hard earned cash, for when? The future?
It seems like such a long time away. But by starting with a small monthly amount as a young adult and gradually increasing the amount as you age you can retire truly knowing you are "liberating' your future financial freedom to truly "own your life!" It's hard but I've come to learn that the things in life that are really worth it often take hard work and pays off so much more in the end! So by starting now, it will make my life so much easier to get by when I decide it's time to stop working for a living. But that's just me...
You just have to decide for yourself, what does freedom mean to you?
