Hey Ontario!

I was up at sunrise this morning to put the finishing touches on my video submission for the Young and Free spokesperson contest. As with anything else I ran into my old buddy Murphy’s Law, anything that can go wrong will go wrong. Yet I’m still pleased with how it turned out, a beautiful sunrise combined with the Laurier campus made filming a breeze. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Michael Prete and I work as a service representative at Libro Financial Group in Waterloo. I’m 21 and in my last year of the Honours Economics and Financial Management program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Music is my passion and I don’t discriminate. I listen to everything from hip hop to classical. Last year my friend DJ RandallPink and I co-hosted a radioshow on radiolaurier.com called Afterhours in the Mainroom. It featured some of the best dance music around. It was such a blast putting the show together each week. This year I will be hoping to move on from radiolaurier.com to a real radio station with a little help from my friend the Road Dog. This summer I will also be working on producing my first track with a little help from a few of my friends. Another passion of mine is movies. Working as a projectionist was an amazing experience as a teenager. Getting to learn so much about how a movie gets from Hollywood to y our local cinema screens. Anyways, an owner just walked through the door back to work for me.
