Hey everybody! I’m KD, it’s so nice to meet you guys and I can’t wait too get to know you better! First I’m going to tell you a little about myself. I’m 19, I live in Drayton and don’t worry if you’ve never heard of it; it’s a pretty small town. I work at a nursing home and I’m going to school in the fall for interior design. I would love love LOVE to be your spokesperson! I took communications and leadership classes in high school and I love meeting new people. Even though I’m not heading to school for broadcasting, I think this is an amazing opportunity and I’m so excited to be apart of it. So who’s up for taking an adventure with me?
KD's blog post:
The meaning of “freedom” is different for everyone. One definition could never possibly pinpoint exactly what “freedom” means to everyone. To some it’s being able to marry who you love, to others it maybe being able to speak your mind without fear. The meanings of “Freedom” to me is having the opportunity to grow, succeed and on more then one occasion to fail all in hopes of creating who you’re meant to be.
Now let’s save some Money!
What’s better then having money? Spending money on the things that make you happy! In order to spend it, you have to make it. Find a job doing something that interests you, if you like what you do it wont be such a hassle to go to work.
Switch it up. If you don’t like the job you have, DON’T QUIT! At least not right away, find a new job first that way you’re never stuck between jobs with no cash flow.
Been there, done that. Talk to your grandparents’, your neighbors any elderly person you can find! They’re old pro’s at saving money after all they’ve lived through the depression and the wars they know a thing or two about saving your pennies.
Past Present Future.
What the future hold for our generation no one really knows, BUT don’t worry there is hope! We can learn from the past and work on the present to give ourselves the best possible future, and always make everyday count. Together we can start.
