The choices we make from in the age range of 18-25 are often the most important ones as we transition into unfamiliar territory. Whether it be post-secondary education, the workforce, travel or a combination of these things it is important to make decisions for the right reasons.

Student life is greatly influenced by financial obligations such as tuition, rent and groceries. Most post-secondary institutions have financial aid offices, or at the very least student help centres to provide assistance and guidance with respect to finances. People’s situations vary and there is no universal formula that students can follow in order to guarantee financial success, though there are steps that they can take in order to help on the journey to financial independence. With the ever changing world of social networking it is important to use the technology available to assist in obtaining valuable information in order to support you through your education and life. An example of this would be the young and free Ontario blog.

Freedom is in some way or another, the power or right to act, speak or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. I would encourage everyone to be free and to realize the power they have with the decisions they make on a day to day basis. Being able to spread knowledge about being financially independent and responsible while doing so creatively is something that definitely appeals to me.

“No cue cards. No scripts. Just you, being yourself...” These are the words that made me want to apply.
